I explored some of these options for the min brief for 'little green paint', I will be applying the knowledge I gained in that section to this part of my project.
Initial/material Ideas to be considered
- Tetra Pak
- Tetra Pak - bottle
- Tetra - Carton
- Aluminium Bottles- Ecologic's bottles
- 360 paper bottle
What is needed
- To be stable/ strong on its own
- link to my natural theme - so it connects to the paint pot design
- Limited material
- Eco friendly products
Thoughts
- refill idea could be put into the box and then the top cut off of it, this will allow the user to mix access the refill without pouring the paint into the box themselves, which could
- handels on the top would make it easier to put the refill packaging into the box
- This would also further protect the box,
Design change
- fibreglass could possible not be used for the inside of the paint box but a refill package which you could seal
- Inside the box would be a bag, which can be sealed shut and opened like a sandwich bag ???
- the box could then be opened and the bag unsealed folder around the box, so painting could be done the bag could then be resealed, the lid replaced and put away.
- This would mean that fibreglass would not need to be used
