Design - Secondary use

I think that a secondary use should not be set for tis product but idea should be give to encourage different possible uses, this gives the product a better chance of actually being reused. A list could be put of the website with examples possible images, there also could be a leaflet that comes with the box which some ideas on it about what to do with it. 

The idea could be taken a step further possibly creating a competition for people to send in what they have turned there product into, linking to the creativity to painting.   

This could also encourage upcycling by making people more aware and to think about different uses.
