These rough initial designs focused on label shape, trying to incorperate organic forms
The first two designs I believe are to obvious, I wanted to change the convectional label shape but not have something that is to bold, however the design should have a organic flow to them.
The top right image I think looks to stiff, the one below that i like but does it connect to nature, the bottom right image after research I can not see is to similar to there competitors farrow and ball.
These two image work better in terms of the flow that they have, however I believe the bottom design would be two small for the information. Could the top one work? - would be intresting to see how the information fitted.
I thought about adding more detail and texture, thinking about a wash out design as a background, I came across some interesting images of dragon fly wings , so I did a sketch for a possible background design
Although I like the layered effect that this image has I think it should be less abstract, as I don't believe customer would make the connection between the pattern and nature.
This patten does remind me of some flowers when there die and have almost a 'skeleton' of the flower- This like to a idea i had about possible printing leaves and flower to create a design -
The fourth image of the flowers above look like they have been printed, this makes me what to explore printing flowers. The over all theme of 'flower skeleton' I thought may be a bit to morbid of a theme, however looking at the pastel colours in the last flower image it makes it look softer and less dark, which could make it a possible idea worth pursuing.
I also found a image of a moth which I think inks to my previous design using three triangles, this links the shape to nature.
