Key points of information that I picked up from the brief



-       - Design a individual 2.5 litre natural paint container

-       - Design should complement the company existing ID

-       - The product is to ideally be re-used and easy to recycle which reflects the environmental ethos and the market position of the products.

-       - “The Revival of Natural Colour” should be a theme reflected in the colours chosen

-       - The individual container must ideally be able to take a fascia label –or- be printed on.

-       - The product must be able to be protect and transport in multiples of 2’s


Target Audience

The client suggests that the customer profile are a mix of:

Middle aged to retired homeowners who read House and Garden

 Individuals who have a solid view of tradition in colour choice

-           Individuals who employ decorators to use our paint
      Interior designers for the above
-       Individuals who have a more functional attitude to packaging
-       Individuals for whom colour is the main selling point
-      Interior designers for the aboveEnvironmentally conscious customers of all ages who have some disposable income, and will do their own painting
-       Individuals who are likely to have heard about Pots of Paint from their website.
