Recycling paint

During my research I found that paint can actually be recycled, this came as a surprise to me.

http://www.communityrepaint.org.uk

"In 2012 the Community RePaint national network:

• saved 387,495 litres of paint, donated by householders and businesses, from going to waste

• with a market value of over £1.8 million

• and redistributed over 218,000 litres of paint to community groups, charities, voluntary organisations and people in social need."

I looked into the closet place to recycle paint from Worcester, this was Warwickshire, which is around 40 miles away, looking from my person post code to the Wellesbourne Household Waste -
CV35 9QZ, it would cost around £14 in petrol to get there and back.

Comparing this to taking to paint to the local rubbish dump - WR3 8PU, form my personal post code which is around 3 miles would cost roughly around £3.

As long as it is cheaper to throw a product away, than take it to the correct centre, it will be done, thee needs to be more physicality's to create change.
